I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Lyndsey Omar, I’m a stay-at-home-momma and I am here to offer support during pregnancy loss, share RV tips and organization ideas, and to tell you about the man who saved my life: Jesus Christ, along with other topics relevant to my life and hopefully yours too!

A little bit about myself: I’m a small-town girl from Southwest Florida I’ve been happily married to my husband, Jacob, for the past six years. We welcomed our first baby girl, Laney Mae, on October 23, 2020. Sadly, she was born sleeping when I was 36 weeks pregnant. Her loss rocked our entire world. We spent so much time planning for her and loving her, only to have her leave us too soon. I’ll share more details about our loss journey later. Shortly after, we welcomed our son, Trace, in August 2021, and then another son, Tate, in February 2024. My family is the most important part of my life, and the Lord has blessed us tremendously. Even though the pain of losing our daughter is great, we find comfort in knowing that we’ll see her in Heaven again someday.

I love cooking healthy meals for my family, and I also enjoy indulging in some less healthy treats. When I’m not cooking, I love browsing Pinterest for fun activities to do with my kids. Worship music is my jam, and I can’t start my day without a delicious French vanilla coffee. I’ve always been passionate about writing, but I thought blogging was too daunting, so I put it off for a while. However, my family has big dreams, and I decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. Who knows where this journey will take me? I’ve been inspired by so many amazing blogs, and I’ve found so much valuable information on them. I hope you’ll find something helpful or inspiring on my blog as well.

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

So, we live in a 36-foot travel trailer, and let me tell you, it’s been a real challenge to make the most of this tiny space with three boys (and let’s not forget our husbands, they count too!). But hey, I’ve learned a thing or two about maximizing vertical space and using all those cool organization products out there. I’ve found so much joy in creating a functional and beautiful space for our family. When we first got our camper, it was in pretty good shape, but I had a vision of making it feel more like home. So, I took it apart, painted the walls a nice, bright white, and BOOM! It instantly transformed the space. I’m planning to paint the cabinets next, but I was running out of time to move out of our house and into the camper, so that project got put on hold. But hey, organization is one of my passions, and I’m excited to share some of my favorite ideas and products with you to help you make the most of your small spaces. And guess what? My husband is a lineman in the union, so we get to travel all over the country! I’ll be sharing our travels with you, including some of our favorite places to visit and lots of kid-friendly things to do in each place. Stay tuned for more adventures!

My Partner In Life

I absolutely have to show my husband some love! He deserves so much recognition for being such an amazing husband and dad. His hard work ethic and traditional values have made it possible for me to stay home and raise our kids. I’m so grateful for that! There’s nothing better than having an incredible partner and also knowing he’s the best dad to our kids.

Laney Mae

When our first baby girl sadly passed away at 36 weeks after a seemingly perfect pregnancy, our hearts shattered into a million pieces. We had spent countless hours planning for her, preparing her nursery, and even talking to her. But then, she was taken from us in an umbilical cord accident. It was an incredibly painful and heartbreaking experience, but we found the strength by leaning on our faith in Jesus. He guided us through our grief and still does.

Losing our baby has completely changed our outlook on life. It’s become my mission to raise awareness about stillbirth and provide support and love to other angel moms who’ve lost a baby. In those early days, I spent a lot of time on Pinterest, desperately searching for stories of other women who had experienced similar losses. I just wanted to feel like I wasn’t alone. So here I am, now ready to share my story 5 years later to help someone else feel less alone.

We have a small bear that weighs as much as she did when she was born, 5 lbs 9 oz and we take her with us everywhere. She is in all of our family photos, with us for all of our travels and at every holiday get together. Our Laney will never be forgotten.

The love that we have for our sweet babygirl will live on forever in our hearts. The pain never goes away but instead it ebbs and flows, like the waves in the ocean coming and going. Losing her was truly the worst thing that’s ever happened to us but the way that it has changed our perspective on life has affected every aspect of our lives. The love that we have for our boys and the way that we choose to parent with kindness, gentleness, compassion and understanding has all come from the pain of knowing what it’s like to lose a child.

Say Hello To Laney Bear

Laney Bear

After Laney died, I spent tons of time on Pinterest looking for ways to keep her memory alive, to keep her in our lives actively and to find solidarity through other loss moms. During that time, I came across Walter’s Bears which is very similar to the popular Molly Bears, both of which make weighted bears along with other products to help families that have lost a baby. I ordered our Laney bear shortly after she was born and it was delivered to our house within that same week. Receiving our Laney bear brought me so much comfort and even now she is a staple in our family. We buy her bows for each holiday and take her with us wherever we go.
